Разработчики криптокошелька MyEtherWallet (MEW) слухи о его взломе с подменой DNS.
«None of our DNS has been changed. No code has changed on the site. We have double-checked everything, spoken to folks on the phone & checked things again. There is no sign of compromise. This is straight FUD spread in the selfish interests of token».
Особенно активно на тревожные слухи отреагировала команда проекта Ethereum Blue, представители которой опубликовали серию твитов о том, что криптокошелек скомпрометирован:
«If you have funds in a MEW wallet, please migrate to a Trezor or Ledger ASAP please standy for more on the MyEtherWallet hack. We are trying to contact their team, so far we are being ignored».
«Every time we call out a hack or issue going on (EtherDelta, Tron issues, etc) someone says we are just spreading FUD. We have no intention of spreading FUD for no reason, and have nothing to gain from that. We are merely sharing info we have been given to inform the community»
Напомним, что обнаруженный в первой половине декабря фейковый вариант криптокошелька MyEtherWallet всего за неделю вышел на третье место в категории “Финансы” в AppStore, не имея абсолютно никакого отношения к хранению и обмену криптовалют, и затем был удален.
