С 25 августа по 3 сентября в пустыне Блэк Рок, Невада, прошел ежегодный фестиваль Burning Man, на который съехались десятки тысяч человек со всего мира. Фестиваль, прежде всего, примечателен масштабными арт-объектами, а также нарядами участников — редакция AIN.UA приводит галерею самых ярких фото мероприятия.

Тема Burning Man в этом году — «Транформация». «Это празднование перемен, исследование неопределенности. Фестиваль приглашает к тому, чтобы рассмотреть время; не его цикличный характер или сопутствующие ритуалы, а его неумолимый стрелы и объятие неуловимого сейчас. Память непостоянна, а будущее неопределенно», — говорят организаторы.

Арт-объекты

Украина в этом году была представлена двумя инсталляциями — медиаартом на пирамиде и скульптурой в форме бабочки, расписанную в Петриковском стиле.

OK OK , Now the Cats out of the bag. This is the official reveal of my playa surprise. ? . +-+- SOME WOMEN ARE LOST IN THE FIRE ?. . . AND SOME ARE BUILT FROM IT +-+- . I’m always playing with fire, but in lieu of doing another neon truism for a 5th consecutive year, I will be using FIRE ? in a new way, the first of it’s kind. I have chosen to trade mediums, swapping hand blown glass filled with neon gas for hand bent iron filled with propane gas. Instead of illuminated words, my handwritten sentiment will be ignited ! Born of a desire to have words literally burning, but never destroyed, This is a new technique I have pioneered with the help of my amazing fire master @tomj_jordan ✨?✨. I’m so excited to reveal the largest edition from my new fire place series on the Playa. . The headline installation in the Art Park will be a large-scale fireplace reading “I Wish You Were Here.” This handwritten sentiment evokes a universal sense of desire and longing, which we can all relate to. Below the surface, it explores the dichotomy of presence vs. absence, the synergy of life and death, the relevance past and present. This fireplace will not only provide warmth in the cold desert nights, it also engages spectators in an emotionally charged moment of presence and remembrance. . . a Tribute to all those great ones we’ve loved and lost , and the ones who we had to leave behind. . I am sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking forward to another big neon this year , but don’t worry, for that I’ve created a stunning neon complaints box inside the Art Park, where you can submit your complaints and concerns ??? . You might be saying, those are really generic words , but trust me, seeing it live in person is really powerful. ??This render doesn’t do it justice. . So looking forward to all the future memories on the horizon ! Can’t wait to be reunited with my playa family and all the surreal adventures and human experiences . И я вам желаю что-то в таком духе иногда пробовать. Чтобы стереть эффект привыкания — самое губительное, что происходит между двумя людьми. Происходит со всеми. На каком-то этапе. Это было охеренно!!! ✨ ⠀ Мы наряжались в странные наряды, обнимались с незнакомыми людьми как с родными, танцевали ночью возле огнедышащих машин, мылись уксусом, дышали пылью, ели пыль, спали в пыли ? ⠀ Я плакала от переизбытка эмоций, дети хохотали, а Мужчина просто отдыхал от «дефолтного мира» ? ⠀ Я готовилась к этой поездке с января, пересмотрела кучу видео и перечитала все отчеты ? Но ничего, вообще ничего, не сможет передать то, что мы увидели и почувствовали. ⠀ Это было охеренно!!! Прекрасно ❤️ И не так сложно, как я готовилась. С детьми 100% круто! И мы обязательно поедем еще ✨✨✨

А через респиратор было все сложнее дышать. ⠀ Но интересно другое — как большие истории строятся из маленьких деталей. Например, этот мост в заброшенной промзоне я нашла спустя много дней поисков. В общей картине зарослей он был совсем не похож на атмосферу фестиваля в пустыне Блэк-Рок. Но если убрать лишнее — то очень даже да. ⠀ В киноиндустрии человека, который находит локации для съемок (location manager), часто нанимают даже раньше, чем режиссера и актеров главных ролей. Потому что он должен изучить неизведаные и неожиданные точки на карте мира, которые смогут передать атмосферу, описанную в сценарии. На это уходят недели. И по сути, эти люди — связующие звенья между вымышленным миром креативщиков и реальным миром. По моим ощущениям — это адская профессия.
